How to change your perspective
When you feel like the weight of the world is on you
I recall sitting with a therapist a few years ago and dreading a pending confrontation. She looked at me and said "Why not think of it as a challenge rather than an storm waiting to hit." It was a light bulb moment for me. I still have challenges, and situations and projects I don't like doing but it effects my nervous system differently and thinking of it as a challenge lets me sleep. I also avoid stressful situations late at night (when I can). It makes a huge difference.
