About
Leaf the Hungry Yoga Bunny.
Leaf is always hungry, always keen to practice a few poses each morning and loves to meditate. Meditation was initially a challenge that made him feel more relaxed but he still had to make sure he did two 20 minute mediations a day so keep that anxiety at bay. Now he craves those quiet moments to recharge and process any latent issues he’s bottled up inside. Its always at challenge while helping out with family and this epidemic.
Leaf is the creation of Siobhan Donoghue. When she arrived to Australia, she was a cyclist who did yoga occasionally. Soon after starting a life in the southern hemisphere, she seriously damaged her lower back. Life became very slow and she could barely walk or sit. As she rewired her neurological pathways through various healing modalities, she created Leaf to represent her journey, focused mostly on healing through food and iyengar yoga. She became so passionate about iyengar’s healing ability that she trained as an iyengar yoga teacher.
Why is Leaf male rather than female? No one knows. He is who he is and we love him just the way he is.
Siobhan is a jack of all trades. She has a masters degree from Pratt in interior architecture specializing in exhibition design, trained as a chef in Burgundy, worked at an art historian, at the National Gallery of Canada, designed luxury biking and hiking trips with B&R and published travel guides while working with Rough Guides in London. She grew up in Ottawa, Canada and has lived in Europe, Asia, Latin American, the Unites States.
What’s next? Leaf! He is the guiding light that wakes her up in the morning and fills her with ideas. Stay tuned while we create a digital platform so that you too can have Leaf guiding you to a happier and more energy filled day with little helpful steps each day.
We are all on our own journey but it useful to have a helping hand when you need it.
